Colour Liquid Prettau® Aquarell Boost®
Creating lifelike, aesthetically pleasing restorations goes beyond mere precision – it’s about infusing each piece with character and beauty. That’s where our new biocompatible and water-based Colour Liquids Prettau® Aquarell Boost® come in.
During sintering, all unnecessary liquid components evaporate, leaving only the colour, which is fully integrated in the final restoration. Thanks to the detailed application guide, they are easy to use: whether you are a novice or an expert, great results can be achieved simply by following the specially conceived protocol.

How they work
The high degree of viscosity permits precise brushstrokes with minimal liquid absorption into the structure. When applied to white-stage zirconia, however, the visible colour effect does not represent the final result, which will appear after sintering. Once sintered, overly bright effects can be reduced by carefully removing the top layers using special diamond burs for zirconia, or further refined and characterised by applying ICE Stains 3D by Enrico Steger and Fresco Ceramics.

Effect of multiple brushstrokes
The images show the effect of multiple brushstrokes of Colour Liquid Prettau® Aquarell Boost® Dentine A on a crown made of Prettau® 2 Dispersive® A1 zirconia. The colour effect changes based on the number of brushstrokes applied. Each brushstroke darkens the colour by one shade.

Skill come with practice

The journey of preparation is just as important as the final creation. With this in mind, we have included exercise papers in the Colour Liquid Prettau® Aquarell Boost® set. Each paper includes various images of molars and front teeth. Meticulous practice helps you master different techniques, steady your hands and gain a deeper understanding of how colour flows from the brush. |
