THE HIGHLIGHTS

Automated storage solution Despite the compact design of the milling unit, flexible blank storage configurations allow for the management of up to 16 blanks, or, depending on the requirements, up to 60, 70, or 80 blanks, which can be monitored and controlled via software. The intelligent software automatically assigns the blanks to the optimal storage slot – for example, dry-milled blanks above wet-milled workpieces. If preferred, the assignment can also be performed manually. An integrated LED status indicator on each slot also provides clear visual signals. Different colours indicate whether an action, such as inserting or removing blanks or making a correction, is required. |

Fully automatic Blank Changer The Blank Changer enables material blanks to be transferred automatically between the storage and the orbit. Additionally, the integrated ToF sensor (Time of Flight) monitors the blank presence in the storage as well as the available slots. In this way, restorations made from various dental materials, as well as in different colours and heights, can now be produced fully automatically, without any manual intermediate step. Using the included Calibration Blank, the Blank Changer memorises the blank position in the storage and calculates the distance between the storage and the orbit, ensuring a safe and reliable transfer. |

Teleskoper Orbit SelfLock (Ø 125 mm) With our M6 milling unit we remained true to our proven “Teleskoper” philosophy. The new Teleskoper Orbit SelfLock revolutionises production with a smart mechanism that automatically clamps and unclamps blanks and holders, enabling fully autonomous milling. With a diameter of 125 mm, the orbit can process material blanks in sizes of 95 mm, 98 mm, 106 mm, and 125 mm. Additionally, the Ø 125 mm blanks are designed in such a way that no additional blank holder is required. Thanks to special holders, glass-ceramic and Raw Abutment® blanks, as well as up to six mini zirconia blanks (size 1), can also be processed. |

Performance Spindle As part of our continuous improvement, we’ve integrated the new Performance Spindle into the M6 as a standard feature. Thanks to the specially developed permanent magnet synchronous motor (PSM), it delivers impressive torque of up to 200 N·cm and reaches speeds from 6,000 to 40,000 rpm with a peak power of 2.5 kW. The combination of low speeds and high torque is particularly advantageous for processing metals and resins, ensuring the correct milling speed, which positively impacts tool wear, spindle life, and surface quality. |

Easy access for maintenance The M6 has been equipped with a newly developed swing door which allows for quick, easy and autonomous machine maintenance through the front service access. This means, covers or panels no longer need to be removed to maintain components such as spindle ball screws or linear rails, resulting in considerable time-saving. Additionally, regular maintenance of the machine parts helps extend their lifespan. |

Up to 60 milling burs The M6 is provided with a tool chamber, separated from the milling chamber and protected from contamination, which features an automatic tool changer. Two magazines, each with 30 slots, offer safe and organised storage for up to 60 burs. A QR code scanner automatically checks tools for type and potential damage before and after milling, as well as after each tool change. Bur wear can be monitored at any time via the touchscreen on the milling unit. |

Control via QR code scanner The high-resolution QR code scanner enables precise optical tool recognition, enhancing safety during milling. By scanning the uniquely assignable QR code, each bur has a designated slot in the tool magazine. Blanks are also identified by QR code and intelligently sorted in the storage. For instance, blanks that need to be milled wet are automatically assigned to a slot in the lower part of the storage. The machine always knows the exact position of the blank to be processed and the required tools, verifying both before each milling process to ensure the correct components are used. |

Autonomous subtractive production Once the blanks has been placed in the storage and the milling files prepared and transferred to the machine, the M6 works autonomously thanks to the fully automatic Blank Changer. Additionally, with the automatic self-cleaning and drying function, the Cleaning kit for manual cleaning and the Ioniser, which electrostatically discharges resin chips, dirty milling chambers are no longer an issue. |
REMOTE MONITORING VIA ZIRKONZAHN.APP
The milling unit can be synchronised with the Zirkonzahn.App via a QR code, allowing milling processes to be easily monitored remotely. Additionally, users receive push notifications with helpful information regarding machine maintenance.
